The application deadline for Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund is February 28 each year.
NOTICE TO ALL – BEWARE OF THIS SCAM:
Be on the lookout for a postcard from American Scholarships with a handwritten appearing note that says, “It’s been impossible to get in touch with you. Please call us at your earliest convenience.”
This is the same old financial aid scam where you pay these people to help you complete your FAFSA (which is free), or they’ll give you a huge list of scholarships which you can get for free or pay them $249 dollars and they’ll look for scholarships for you. Sure.
Here’s their report from the Better Business Bureau – they’re an F!
